Relaxing week at the Melia

Our stay in the Meliã here in Cozumel was totally wonderful. The excellent staff kept smiles on their faces while keeping up the hotel and were always there when we needed help. The food was yummy, the occasions and matches hosted were amazingly entertaining, and the staff functioning even played us made it much more entertaining. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

First impression: AMAZING, since we inadvertently left a notebook bag with our notebooks and my fiances passport at the back of the cab that dropped us in the door. Along with the Melia bell jumps (front desk secretary ) assisted us SO much to look at the cameras immediately to find the cab number from the face of the automobile. The bell hop was instantly on the telephone with the cab company seeking to get a grasp of the most important office. It had been so beneficial. After taking the following cab arranged by Melia, we got into the cab office in which we met the first driver. We couldn’t have completed this without Melia workers. We had the updated room together with all the private Jacuzzi on the terrace. The Jacuzzi and terrace was just fine. Not one of the jets worked the very first night but maintenance came to fix it the following day so that we can use it one night.

Fantastic spot for family members and friends. This is our second visit to Melia but now together with family instead of friends. The food is always great although for your booking to get Mexican night at iguana is your very best. I strongly suggest the Chilaquiles channel for the omelette station. The choice of toppings for your Chilaquiles is wonderful. Mild salsa, burn off your face salsa, fresh instance so, cilantro, onion, it is all there. We also get great recommendations for some permit fishing in cozumel tours around the island. So, do yourself a favor and check this out hotel.

There are rooms over those chambers and the roof decking doesn’t offer some privacy from the chambers above. Not a massive problem though. We rated support really good, but that was just due to the help we obtained right from the bell jump personnel and front desk. The service at the restaurants was very slow. We were hungry, so we simply went to the buffet directly next door and obtained a sushi dish as an appetizer. Eventually they took our order, however, my fiances meal came out incorrect he had to wait for another 15 minutes to allow them to deliver the ideal food. All bartenders were adequate in fulfilling drinks!I’ve stayed in the Melia hotel in Nassau and it was much better than one. This house is smaller than that which I envisioned. The adult pool bar is fine, however there are just about two hours of sunlight available as a result of shadow from the construction. The household pool always appeared to be more fun, however, since they really had great music playing things happening. You need to make reservations for some of those restaurants aside from the buffet and in check we could not get a reservation anywhere for this evening. The following night that the only available alternative was 9pm. The buffet food was likewise just fine compared to other all-inclusives I have remained at.WiFi prices $10 daily.

Fantastic company, had imperial package and walking on shore was fantastic. Loved iguana pub for supper good wings, shrimp tacos and wraps. Willian is your very best good bartender. Will return again for certain.

My spouse and I want to offer many thanks to Club Melia Cozumel and especially to Sandra Osorno Lopez and Cezar due to their direction and proactive activities which were taken on our behalf throughout the period of proposed repairs of power in our area. Particular thanks to Sandra also for her leadership and assist to recuperate and return to us some precious things which were abandoned in the area after check out. Their bell guys (Alfonso and many others ) will also be terrific. My spouse with a comprehensive housekeeping experience at the top hotels and hospital gave the Club Melia a score A+ to our chamber cleanliness. Due to every one Club Melia Cozumel workers for their excellent work of serving for their own patrons.

Fantastic employees, enjoyed our week from Michigan and in this gorgeous hotel! Little and charming, unlike the mega hotels, this area had design and was readily accessible to enjoy what it needed to offer! A few days of terrible weather pushed the Dead Sea bud on coast but the team worked hard to clean this up!

Staff of this hotel are wonderful

The employees are really great here. They are professional and attentive. I had been amazed with them. The drinks are extremely good. The setting is amazing. It did not feel cramped at the hotel. The resort itself was nice. My only desire is that there were vegetarian items on the dinner selections however it did not seem any Cozumel restaurants needed a whole lot of vegetarian choices.

The hotel was wonderful. Had what we needed. Food was top notch on the hotel and the shore. Service was excellent particularly Roberto & Marco. Entertainment was great too. Kid friendly too. We’d certainly do this trip.

Cozumel is a fantastic place. I have visited it several times with my family and friends. We love looking at attractions, beaches, and points of interest. We just enjoyed it very much. That night in Fiesta Americana I met another family. They were talking about a new cozumel jeep and snorkel adventure tour near to our hotel; the island is characterized by diving and fishing excursions. We have not had the opportunity to try it. But, without a doubt, the next time we will do it very excited. My family loves aquatic adventures. So traveling offshore will not be a problem. On the contrary, it will be an unforgettable experience.

Really this hotel wasn’t our first option. We wanted to reserve Westin, but merely on this day we came at Cozumel, there wasn’t any accessible room. We adored this Fiesta Americana over the Westin. When we came in Fiesta Americana, instantly we felt welcomed. I could see that everybody desired to function like possible. The area is quite spacious and comfy. The only thing we all likely ask is to enhance the overall food quality. And this resort doesn’t have a shore.

I had been a part of a group of 9 in the USA on a missionary trip for the own island. Goal; to deliver food, clothes and essentials to the islanders. We had the very best remedy after each day of extended hours and hard work largely in part because of Lucio”Tony” who shot us under his radar. I really don’t speak Spanish and Tony does speak English and helped me a great deal! The hotel has an elongated place known as the Explorean” and that’s where we stayed but it was Lucio that made our stay that could bring me!

Cozy and clean area, beautiful place and we love it is shore. This really is a gorgeous location for snorkel. We adore the displays. And the food has been amazing. Specially the Asian Restaurant, Where Jose Peninsula, The Chef treated us Salvador that the waiter. At the coffee store Eliud was quite friendly, another spot to get a fantastic sea food would be la cevicheria in which the team made us feel at home especially Florencia,Olga, Jose & Marco. Vina Del Mar restaurant staff were very considerate, helpful and kind Alejandra the hostess, Isabel that the waitress, Luis the chef gave us a personalized support. We enjoyed our 10 days holidays.

The rooms were quite clean and the package was very great. We remained less than two decades before and this experience didn’t measure up sometimes. New Years Eve dinner in the Italian Restaurant was a pity. The mushroom soup seemed to possess silica gel beads which initially were clarified to us since tapioca. After we questioned them, the chef came out and insisted that they had been mushroom seeds. New Years countdown happened 5 minutes early with very little statement. Our other concern was a 2 times in the buffet, we were not waited on for beverages and no one ever stopped by our table. There were fantastic things to the excursion, Marco in LA CEVICHERIA was fantastic as were other members of their team such as the bell boys. Some others were fantastic too but I don’t remember their names. The meals besides New Years was great. During Orbitz, I had been told I’d get VIP check in and also a bottle of wine. VIP check in was fantastic but I never got the jar of wine. All in all we liked however there were a few ups and downs.

Hotel was suitable. Staff was quite warm, friendly and useful. Sushi has been the very nice and fish restaurant on the shore. Lots of choice to consume at morning buffet. Space and balcony was big and had a wonderful view of the sea. Very relaxing and fun holiday!

Cool, intimate, oceanfront hotel

Following 10 decades of scuba diving in Cozumel I attempted this resort across from Mega Supermarket. As a solo diver I believed it’d be more safe to be mid-town and that I had been on a budget. It is as simple as fundamental can be bring your own shampoo and cream. I liked the view and the coast diving that most resorts do not have. Aqua Safari needed a man in their dive shop who’s sweet as could be but perhaps not the brightest bulb in the box. When a dip becomes canceled and you’re in their resort getting that information before coming on the pier should be confirmed. That is supposed to be the benefit to staying in the hotel. Wont dip with that team again but that is another review I found that the people in the desk helpful and the maids were sort.

What a great find at a good price. I had been planning to stay for just 1 night but ended up. I kept thinking I’d visit a fancier hotel but always kept coming back here. The staff was friendly, the area had a terrific ocean view and was actually quite large with a fantastic large, remodeled bathroom. A/C worked fantastic and I also had my very own balcony. I have a buddy that lives in town part of this year so that it was nice being close to city and all of the stores. WiFi worked great.

Cozumel is a Mexican Caribbean island that you can not miss. I’m telling you because I’ve come at every opportunity I have. Traveling to Cozumel is cheap and convenient. Also, the experiences that you live here are unforgettable. From your arrival, until the last activity, you do with your party. A couple of people recommended the snorkeling tour. But, I’m not sure what are the best playa del carmen snorkeling spots near to Cozumel. I will get into it. Even the accommodation is remarkable. Barracuda is a great option. My friends and I were pleased to stay five nights during the vacation period. We stayed there to be near the downtown of Cozumel.

The resort was clean, had an wonderful view particularly for the purchase price. This hotel is old and the rooms are old but kept tidy. The advantages are the price tag, the team is nice and adapting, fridge in the room, big grocery store throughout the road, and a liquor store throughout the road and also a pool bar. The drawback is no lift, no WiFi in chambers, and no longer in room safe. There’s not any open shore here, you need to walk down stairs to get in the ocean. We did not mind. The resort was clean and the view was fantastic managed to see the boats entering and departing port out of our balcony. We’d stay there again.

This beach side location is fantastic in Cozumel. The place is south of this”square” by six cubes, but decent shopping is close by as might be the Mega shop. You’ve got to care for food and drink company in the No Name Bar (below the resort an such as the beachfront. Want a place to stay? Want a drink? Want to have a rest from walking.

It’s old and there are no amenities. The main reason to keep here is as it’s centrally situated in San Miguel and most of the fantastic restaurants, shopping and excursion guides are nearby. The beds aren’t comfortable, but that’s a little price to cover me. The A/C works nicely and there’s an in room refrigerator. Television reception is bad and Language stations are lean, but that is why you are in Mexico. Every area has a view of the water and also the sunsets are magnificent. WiFi is available at the lobby. The No Reserve pool bar is a good deal of fun and throughout the afternoon is a destination for cruise ship workers who will find a little rowdy. Food is great, but pricey compared to local restaurants. You receive a small discount for staying at the resort. The in house dive organization is excellent and the largest operator in the island. I would you’re a diver you’re in good hands with Dive Paradise.

We chose to attempt Baracuda to take a rest in the all inclusives. What a fantastic stop. You’ve got excellent snorkeling right there. No sandy shore but have sand in addition to tables and chairs to relax in sunlight. Wonderful bar shares the shore to have meals and beverages immediately. The area has a excellent small refrigerator and the mart across the road makes it simple to stock up on the beverages! The mattresses tended to be worn out and invisibly into the outsides although not awful. Wi-fi at the lobby was great. Hotel had no lift which has been a bummer. The pool has been really warm and somewhat muddy. It was my sole complaint. It wasn’t maintained as clean as a number of the other resorts we stayed at. Central found made it effortless to walk into the plaza and we ate at Hooters. I’d certainly return.

Not a luxury resort, also not without flaws, but overall a nice experience. Hotel directly on sea, all chambers but you have balcony or patio facing the sea, resort has three floors above the ground floor – no lift. Three flats (from 52 rooms) can be found with complete kitchen amenities. Has pool and swim-up pub with meals. Bar pricey, but suitable. Food OK. Bar is available to the general public. Drawbacks – no laundry facilities onsite, no WIFI in rooms, only in hotel lobby and at the”beach” area back (shore is a huge veranda with sand that comprises the pool and pool, and lounge chairs, and tables with umbrellas to sit and unwind, eat, or drink – silent and relaxing setting ( very scenic). Steps lead down to sea, handy but for a day at the shore I moved to other areas. Dive store also located outside back. Hotel has its own dock for ships. Hotel design and orange colour is cheery and very Mexican. Rooms comfortable and clean, with TV and refrigerator, no microwave. Some rooms don’t have temp management for your A/C – it is off or on. Additionally have onsite arrangements for bicycles, cars, trips, fishing, snorkeling, diving, etc., handy but you will cover more I liked my stay three weeks. Perfection it is not, but strong and a fantastic price.

Very Good dive hotel, within walking distance for many restaurants dive shops

This is my second stay at Villablanca this season and will continue to return:-RRB- For the cost, you can’t beat it. Super clean, hot showers, chilly a/c, refrigerator etc. Check in was simple, no credit card required. The place is very good. Right across the road I advocate Turquoise for beverages and lunch. Try the fish wrapped in bacon, I had them a few times, they’re yummy. Breakfast was in the Hogtown cafe next door. I dove with Dive paradise throughout the street. They’re a good operation and I’ve used them in Coz.

Very affordable rates, clean & spacious rooms, Superior Room with full size fridge and king bed, type staff. Fantastic place for sailors, walk into Old Hogs for a fast breakfast across the road to Dive Paradise. Then enjoy the pool & spa at Villablanca & eat in the superb restaurant on site, Chalos! Speedy cab to downtown for shopping.

This was the very first time we remained at the Villablanca, and are certain to return. You can not beat the cost. Check in was quick and simple. You might need to allow the hot water run for a moment, but it will get hot. The only minor criticism is the pool filter didn’t get the job done well, or wasn’t turned on for a day or 2. At one stage one of those men from the restaurant really tried to skim it, but the following day that the filter appeared to be functioning so all was well. Speaking of this restaurant Chalo’s….wow! Great! Great authentic Mexican food along with a totally amazing staff. It’s a household owned/run location and they treat you as if you’re a part of their family the moment you walk in. It’s available to people not only hotel guests. It’s well worth the trip simply to eat there. Overall we had a excellent time in the resort, and enjoyed our stay.

I love Cozumel and the amenities you can find on the island. The first time I traveled with my family I was afraid that the accommodation experience would not be ideal. The truth is that I was entirely wrong to think that. Staying in Cozumel is one of the most convenient, enjoyable, and fun things you can do in Mexico. The Villablanca is a nice place to stay. I loved the rooms and the amenities. It also has people to help you choose activities to do in Cozumel. One of the guys recommended me an akumal fly fishing excursion with one family-owned tours company. We will surely try that during our stay.

We have stayed in the Villablanca several occasions within the previous ten decades, and we always enjoy it. The superior rooms are lovely, the garden grounds are magnificent, and the place is suitable for divers and snorkelers (us). Jorge and his attentive staff took such excellent care of us. The air conditioning worked great on the times we had it. The maid service did a gorgeous job keeping our room clean and re-stocked together with towels. We stayed for a week and have been sad to leave. Thank you Jorge and team, we can not wait to see again.

My husband, little poodle and I’ve been in the Villablanca resort for the previous few nights. Big, comfortable room. Great, clean king mattress. Full sized refrigerator. Tastefully Mexican style decoration. Just across the road from great snorkeling and swimming.

The location is excellent. Clean staff. I like the enmities of this resort. Really comfy. Remaining in the suites I just got a hot shower. It might have fine for warm water. Notably after diving. Last month at a normal room warm water no difficulty. Hopeful the water becomes warm.

Wish we’d booked here! It seems fantastic, we’ll come and keep next excursion! So pleased to see it doing fantastic! Great location and fantastic rates! Dive or snorkel throughout the street… wish we’d reserved here on this excursion!

Way more than I expected!

My past several trips to Cozumel happen to be with my loved ones. We generally stay at a 5-star hotel. This trip I arrived by myself to get a few days of diving. I simply wanted a place to remain in the city centre. I’m not certain what the hotel price per night, but around trip airfare from Chicago and 5 nights in the hotel price $507. (The hotel where I stayed previously could have cost close to $2,000 for your flight and 5 nights). While my area was no way a package, it was rather large and had two double beds. The area and the toilet (oversize towels) were spotless daily. Water pressure might have been greater, but it was decent. The television worked nicely. The hotel is a few buildings from the closest street. My room was really silent.Breakfast was also included, but has been supplied a couple blocks away (a 5 min walk) at a different resort (with likely the exact same ownership). Food was varied and very excellent.

Big rooms, comfortable beds, you have a vault, along with also an iron, fine clean bathroom however, the shower flow is weak. Really inexpensive (980 pesos for a night for two adults) and it features a fantastic huge breakfast buffet that’s available until 11:30. Near the heart and also into the Main Street.

We love to travel to the magical waters of Cozumel. It is always a different experience. Either because we change accommodation, or because we decided to do a new activity. The island still has something new to show us every time. Suites Colonial is an example of that. Had the pleasure to talk with interesting people who work there and in their free time go to the fishing charters in playa del carmen very close to Cozumel. To be honest, we can not always prevent this hotel from being our first choice when we travel to Cozumel. It is an excellent hotel. The service and the rooms are very convenient. Such a nice place to stay every time you come to the island.

This hotel is across the road from the water and in walking distance to whatever you’ll need in Cozumel. The staff has been friendly, professional and helpful. The beds are comfy and the room clean. There was a little kitchen in the area with a fridge, microwave and essential utensils. They had a great breakfast in a nearby property comprised in the purchase price. I strongly recommend this resort and will gladly return whenever possible.

My spouse and I stayed here for 10 days and it was $480. The rooms were clean and big bathroom was upgraded and had everything you wanted. It was ideal for what we need. We depart early and do not return until late at night so we do not want fancy things our holiday is being at the sun not the area. So go have fun save money NY staying here and spend it doing interesting things on experiences.

The hotel is downtown and is close to all! Would definitely use them again since the area was quite clean and the place was secure with plenty to do and cabs to take you everywhere you needed to go. The continental breakfast is about a 10 minute walk from the resort but it was great and worth walking into.

Enjoy a great stay. The hotel was situated close to the middle of city so was quite convenient to all. The resort was clean and the area had been spacious. We got to visit CASA MEXICANA for breakfast that’s consistently outstanding. Will stay here again in the future.

A whole surprise due to the minimal price of these chambers! Rooms were really big (no balcony) and comfy, large secure, large bath, EXTREMELY wash with television and telephone. A/c worked really good and room was incredibly silent (like superb solid concrete walls). Location is a entire bonus since they’re only a block away from the water and also a block from the square foot. They do not have a restaurant or even a swimming pool however their sister resort, Casa Mexicana is a high grade hotel only a couple of blocks away and that you receive free breakfast and using the pool that faces the ocean. I will for sure be back each time I am in Cozumel.

An oasis of delight!

Amarte resort is a gorgeous location where you are able to relax comfortably, rooms are tidy and quiet, pools are ideal in addition to gardens; is pet friendly resort, there are Thomas and Tomasa, two beautiful puppies and some adorable cats in the backyard. Breakfast is delicious, especially java and bakery. Hostess Montse is really friendly and she is able to provide you information about areas, restaurants, amusement, etc..

We spent a week which was overly long. We had the pool which was beautiful though. The room was clean and basic – no complaints. Staff lovely. Our only reservation concerning the area was that there was only one spot to eat the Burger Bar – you had breakfast. The team from neighbouring hotels appear to come because of their lunch and this is the only time we watched it occupied. Yes, there’s a sister resort but its two kms away, you need to make a booking plus a bus/taxi will take you there and gather you. I thought there could be 2 or even 3 restaurants plus I also believed we had been beside the ocean. The info on the site is somewhat misleading. We ended up with a vehicle which we’d advocate. We had no safety problems in Mexico – remaining on the principal paths and found that the Mexican people beautiful.

Whether you arrive a few days or several weeks, Playa del Carmen is definitely the place. Your family and friends will love it. The spots to meet are beautiful. It will be an experience you will never forget. And if you care about the accommodation, there are many options. From small hotels to large chain resorts. Amarte is a charming hotel. Some employees recommended us el cielo colombia reefs tours very close to the hotel. The good thing about boutique hotels is the experience. You do not have to deal with hotel chain problems because the customer service is remarkable. I loved it.

We only visited this resort for a weekend-getaway, we were greeted with Adinel (I believe that was her name) front desk staff of this day and she was friendly and gave us all of the info. She was constantly smiling and welcoming. The rooms a clean and nice. Shower had great water pressure and net was great. At check out, the other woman from the front desk helped us she was friendly and helpful also. We’ll be going back!

We only spent five nights with all our nine-year-old son. It’s a beautifully maintained property with a few components (in comparison to other hotels on the Riviera Maya), two pools, lush gardens, a neighborhood restaurant, helpful staff, access to a gorgeous beach and much more.If you’re interested in finding a giant resort with comprehensive meals and beverages, go someplace else. We rented a vehicle and use this superb location as a leaping off point for some other experiences, and it provided a great spot to come home to at night. The rooms are more than sufficient (although we did believe a package, but it just had one king bed). Largely, the employees are friendly and helpful. Highly suggested.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room itself was spacious with a comfortable bed. Our stay was in January so it was somewhat cold at night, however, they brought us thick added blankets which quickly solved the matter. Between the lush plants lining the outdoor walkway, friendly resort cats, and numerous pools, the hotel grounds felt very peaceful and private. Many other hotels and hotels we passed were loud and overcrowded therefore we were extremely thankful to have chosen Amarte. Their sister resort, Kin Sol Soleil has an extraordinary restaurant called Pavo Real. Their food was some of the finest I have ever had, and they provide free transport along with 10% off your invoice. If you would like to go through the beautiful eastern coast of Mexico without the extremely loud crowds or bland, artificial feeling of chain-resorts, Amarte is most likely among the best choices on the market. It is not on the shore, but it provides a much better overall experience.

We had been made to feel quite welcome, in the home, cared for as a large group with many diverse requirements and tastes. The staff was lovely, the resort was clean, pool was fine, rooms were quite comfortable, food was so great, beach was amazing. The supervisor Horacio was quite accommodating to our team and also gave us the distance we had to actually dive deep within our procedure. Look forward to conclusion of the jacuzzi!

I stayed here for 2 days in December 2017 and it was peaceful and relaxing. The team were more generous, kind, and attentive, and the reasons were amazing, with two pools and onsite restaurants. My small bungalow was ideal, with a gorgeous outside chairs, put into the trees for the correct mixture of privacy. Part of the time I had been attending an onsite training program, and that I would strongly recommend this as both a private escape and as a fantastic centre for coaching and retreats.

Quiet and quaint hotel to stay in busy PDC

Our remain in la tortuga has been fantastic. This boutique resort is right next to the main route, close to pubs, restaurants and nightclubs: only 5mins walk into coco bongo! However there’s absolutely no sound that was nice. I think you would like the resort even with no jacuzzi. Everything was very clean. I would suggest this place.

Came here from the recommendation of friends and wasn’t disappointed. Includes breakfast. Staff amazing and so valuable. Pool okay (no views) but place ideal. Near the activity and the shore too. Just issue: Comparatively suite rooms are extremely small but have balconies overlooking pool. Additionally building of new hotel throughout the road is noisy during work.

I enjoy pretty much every single thing about this resort. Friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Clean rooms with comfy beds and gorgeous hotel area, fantastic pool, excellent restaurant. Just like a hotel, for adults directly in the center of town. And laid back.

Traveling to Playa del Carmen is a beautiful activity. Whether you go with your friends, your spouse, or your family. You will always find something suitable to do. For example, if you want to eat some kind of food, you will see it. The diversity of the island is what makes it so unique. Therefore, you can not miss a trip to this Caribbean paradise. La Tortuga is a gem in Playa del Carmen.  During our dinner, the waiter recommended the city sightseeing cozumel excursion near Playa del Carmen. I’ll take a look at it. This hotel is at the top of my favorite spots on the island. It is lovely and has a pleasant atmosphere.

Stayed here for two nights. The resort is a stunning and quiet oasis in the center of the middle, with fine and helpful staff. You merely need to walk for two minutes and you’re in the primary road. The resort has a wonderful pool area with a great deal of lovely plants and trees. The room we had was somewhat small, but was large enough for both of us. We had a very wonderful balcony facing the swimming pool area. The breakfast was good, with a great deal of alternatives. The mattress! The mattress was so nice and large. Finest mattress we had in most Mexico! Definitely would recommend this resort if you’re going to Playa Del Carmen.

This resort is amazing. The cost is right and the place is ideal. The staff greets you with a tasty beverage and give you a unique gift to remember them. The free breakfast is restricted but nevertheless great, and of course the further discount given by Coma Coma to their menu items. We’ll be moving back!

Spent the week in La Perla. Sterile, updated and well handled. Everybody was exceptionally generous and kind. A few of the best food we’ve had in a inclusive, especially Fuego and Mole. Also appreciated the Royal Suite service in La Palapa along with also the Royal Service Pool. Employees in the Royal Service pool which were just as engaging and kind as you can request were equally Alfredo Colli and Cristina Ordiz – they left our day in the pool relaxing and wonderful.

We had 7 nights at Tortuga. Our welcome was amazing, really our room was ready 2 hours prior to the officially test in time. We stated we could invested some time until but they stated it isn’t needed we could have our space. An extremely wonderful man show the entire resort and our area and brought the luggages. Room looks fantastic but as I understand they have lots of different type of rooms. Pool is fine also, somewhat cold:-RRB- but constantly clean. If I may suggest some things it’d be a larger cocktail menu in bar. The breakfast was good but would divide the choices inside the international breakfast because these would be the coolest:-RRB- Thank you to your stay, hope we meet next time. And the entire staff and the men from the lobby was really very friendly and helpful.

So quiet and clean I almost didn’t check out…

We spent 8 days in the vicinity of Playa Del Carmen, a few day excursions, Beach restaurants, pubs, shopping to surplus…. Yes we had a great deal of fun but in the end of every day knowing that we can rely upon the Aconto and it is staff to supply us with a relaxing retreat to rest and refuel for the upcoming days adventure proved to be a genuine blessing. Aide the young girl who attends front desk was always prepared to answer our queries and point us in the ideal directions for the greater restaurants, shopping and tours. She had been really useful. The breakfast provided was an easy affair but prepared and presented with caution by the staff.,frequently their breakfast was a life saver when we were leaving just too tired to venture outside for meals.

From our arrival until our departure we had been accommodated by the team with all these questions we had. There’s a lovely book from the area that DETAILS restaurants which was incredibly valuable! Our room itself was superbly appointed as was the kitchen. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff constantly grinning. The women at the front desk were friendly, educated and professional (even if I uttered an extremely rude guest whining about the cab fare). The hotel is charming and you’re near a busy street full of restaurants and shops, a fantastic spot for walking! Thanks to all that made our stay an unbelievable memory!
The Resort is excellent for families, singles and couples. Everything was neat and clean upon my arrival and the room was really spacious. The king size bed was really comfy. The staff was courteous and quite useful. The continental breakfasts were excellent. I truly appreciated the swimming pool. I also went into the local shore and it was enjoyable swimming at the sea and resting on the gorgeous shore. The stores and restaurants are only steps away. I certainly plan to return again soon into the Acanto Hotel.

Staying in Playa del Carmen is an incredible experience. There are so many options that you can find the style you want. Five-star hotel? Yes, there are. Boutique and intimate hotel? Yes, there are. It’s what I love about PDC. For example, the Acanto Hotel is an incredible hotel. When we were in the pool with the kids, I heard two people talk about a popular tour to cozumel dzul-ha reef very close to PDC. I’ll try that in some other time. People say it is beautiful. I went to Acanto with my family. The employees are friendly, the check-in fast, and the rooms very comfortable – a recommended place for Playa del Carmen visitors.

Having a phenomenal location off the primary strip, 5th Avenue, this hotel was all we expected and much more. The centers were consistently top knotch and the team was accessible 24/7 for whatever you may need. The hotel was in walking distance of all of the wonderful eating/shopping and much less than a block in the sand.

We remained for a bit more than a week and it was absolutely ideal. The air is quite zen, calm and felt like a spa- religious retreat which functioned as an ideal escape from the crowded roads… would decide on this boutique resort over another huge hotel daily – The staff has been very kind, friendly and accommodating. We’d WiFi the entire time! Rooms were lovely, design exquisite; a home away from your home. It is a short 5 minute walk to the shore, and right near the heart of city! No complaints. We’ll deff be returning again.

I journey to Playa Del Carmen about two a month because I’m dating someone who lives and once I tried several distinct resorts I ran throughout the Acanto, it’s currently the only hotel I stay at. I typically remain in the 1 bedroom suite (occasionally the penthouse, occasionally only the package ). It’s literally steps from 5th Avenue. The rooms are extremely big and clean! It’s cheap and above all, because I travel I feel totally secure! I can not say enough nice things about this resort and I would 100% recommend this resort if you’re taking a trip to Playa. Thank you Acanto for creating my excursions only a tiny bit nicer.

Acanto is a fine hotel if you intend to spend the night at the regional pubs and nightclubs or you’ll be able to remain in and listen to all of it from the hotel room. We reserved a studio penthouse area – was smaller than we ever anticipated looking in the net photos without any views from our balcony down to the exterior breakfast area. Finest aspect of resort has been the place designated to our area on the cover of the hotel.

Great diving, nice hostel and great people!

I stayed at a top dorm (5 beds and 24/7 AC) during Christmas and New Year. The famous Barbara was there, doing a great job! The rooms can find somewhat dank as a result of warmth, but it may be controlled using the AC.We did not cook at the hostel, but it seemed to have great amenities for people who did. The hostel is situated at a really nice location near the city square and shore. You will want to find those free earplugs as soon as you become tired of hearing Hotel California for the 30th time coming from Woody’s across the road, but that is not much of a problem. The dives were awesome, many thanks to dive master Edi for supplying entertainment below and above water. Did 12 dives and there have been lots of great things to visit (wreck dive, nurse sharks, eagle rays, morays and sea turtles).

Barbara is the very best! The bed was large and comfy. Each mattress has a power socket and light and drape that’s nice. The kitchen is rather small. The showers do not have a lot of water pressure. I really don’t like that they bill from usd for dives then convert into the local money. It must be the other way round.

The rooms and common areas are extremely clean and pleasant. They helped out with questions we had. There’s a pub throughout the road tho, which includes live music or karaoke or something that you are able to hear quite well from the area, but they offer you earplugs. We also booked two dives through the hostel. 1 refresh/reactivate dip and a two tank boat dive.
Together with the refresh dip we obtained teacher Luis that came into the hostel and walked thru everything, he had been quite kind, patient and a fantastic teacher. I really met Luis again in Playa del Carmen by injury and we spoke and he chose me to perform a Cenote dive, which was amazing! Therefore, if you’re staying here, I’d definitely urge you requesting for Luis! The 2 tank boat dive was completed in a bigger group from a different hostel, this was likewise terrific. The secretary makes it possible to access into another hostel and they treat everything. A nice and smooth experience.

I have all I could have hoped for in 2 Tank. It was very cool to stay someplace where I shared the exact same interest as the remaining guests, and for this reason I think that it was easier to make friends. (I traveled solo and ended up spending the majority of my own non-diving downtime using four folks I met at 2 Tank.) The lodging either met or exceeded my own expectations. The beds were nice comfort-wise, plus they’d drapes which was amazing. Some people were talking about some exciting scuba diving in cozumel without certification tours near to our hotel; the island is characterized by diving and fishing excursions. We have not had the opportunity to try it. But, without a doubt, the next time we will do it very excited. My family loves aquatic adventures. So traveling offshore will not be a problem. On the contrary, it will be an unforgettable experience.

The baths were in nice working order and had enough space. There was lots of lockable storage room at both the common areas and the bedrooms. The showers had restricted warm water, but it had been no problem squeezing out a three-minute shower while the water remained warm. I had been in the cheapest room, which was air conditioned from 8pm to 8am, which was fine by me because I did not invest much non-sleeping time within the room. However, 24-hour air conditioned rooms have been available for a couple more bucks per night. In general, I certainly got more worth than that I paid for, which is before factoring from the excellent individuals and vibes.

We moved here to receive our padi certificate. Excellent support prior to coming through facebook messenger along with friendly employees when coming. Dorms are great, diving is excellent and their teachers are professional. Can suggest to all for underwater experiences and could definitely return to mexico only for this particular place. Shout out to barbara, you left it 100.

Here to dive- that they provide fairly cheap prices for lodging if you dive together. They really dive through another surgery round the corner, however, the hostel itself was well-equipped, clean and modern. Air-con was pretty vital as it becomes real hot inside, but not an issue because its on 12 hrs/day. Desk staff were helpful and also the dive experience was superb.

Their dip performance is very good! They had been conducting a promotion of a two tank dive with equipment for just $79. That is tough to locate in scuba diving and made the trips much more enjoyable. Their dive staff are well trained, patient and friendly. The ship was great – really comfy with a super friendly staff and great lunch. I would definitely dive with them when in Cozumel and I believe they would be a great pick if you’re interested in getting accredited or advance your abilities.

My favorite place to stay

This hotel isn’t fancy or unique, but it is right in the city on the water and is always tidy. The lobby includes a water tank so that you can fill your own water bottles before going out to the day. The rooms are big and quite reasonably priced. The breakfast makes this an amazing price. Just like the majority of the resorts on the island, the shower requires approximately 5 minutes for warm water to emerge. There are numerous very good places to eat in a 1 block radius. I will certainly stay here again!

We’ve been staying in Bahia because the 1990’s if the older principal dip pier was around the road. For us, this signifies older, smoother times. It doesn’t have a pool or restaurant, but you’ve got breakfast privileges in a sister hotel two blocks off. Approximately four of these rooms have an immediate view of the water having a little balcony and you’ll be able to watch a lot of boating actions, including cruise ship docking. Air conditioning is nice and hot water is plentiful. TV has lots of Spanish and also a few English channels. All rooms have little safes. If you’re trying to find a pool and items for children to do – move someplace else. If you’re seeking Old Mexico and decent walking city accessibility, this is it.

Staying in Cozumel is an incredible experience. There are so many options that you can find the style you want. Five-star hotel? Yes, there are. Boutique and intimate hotel? Yes, there are. It’s what I love about Cozumel. For example, the Suites Bahia Hotel is an incredible hotel. When we were in the pool with the kids, I heard two people talk about a popular cozumel fishing charters service. I’ll try that in some other time. People say it is an amazing experience. I went to Suites Bahia with my family. The employees are friendly, the check-in fast, and the rooms very comfortable – a recommended place for Cozumel visitors.

My remain at Suites Bahia was My night with my loved ones was treacherous, the odor made me light headed and slightly sick the general vibe of the space shouted motel six and string resort instead of unique. The staff was fantastic however loud noises during the night of individuals visiting their rooms and visitors outdoors wouldn’t recommend to anybody who’s a light sleeper please rethink! – switched resorts 1/2 way through our stay in Cozumel.

This hotel was in an ideal place to restaurants, stores and the dock where our dive boat picked us up. The room was big, we had a kitchenette and balcony. Since we had been the tIle floors was ideal and we utilized the balcony to our wetsuits. There was a decrease spigot from the shower that made rinsing things simpler.

We really enjoyed this resort. It provided a kitchen and massive rooms, was quite clean, and has been centrally located, making use of the park or “square” simple. The square was filled with activities, shops and restaurants, and frequently had free entertainment for the entire family at nighttime. In addition, it provided a fantastic free breakfast during its companion hotel that was only a couple of hundred feet off. It had been in a secure place, the employees were quite friendly, and though there was not a pool, the sister resort needed one – that we never needed since it’s literally across the road from the gorgeous ocean. We’d definitely go back there again!

It’s in partnership with Casa Mexicana at which breakfast is served. Breakfast is a complete and expansive buffet with everything from eggs/omelettes to many different fresh fruits, which could even be mixed into smoothies, a choice of cereals, granola, chia, along with fresh squeezed oj and strawberry juice (oh yeah, you can tell). The place is also suitable to some fun bar throughout the road, The Thirsty Cougar, where you are able to find a fantastic margarita in addition to tasty guacamole, and El Coffee, in case ideal espresso is the thing. We also walked several occasions to the one vegan restaurant in the city known as Cali Cafe. Wifi at the resort worked well for us. We appreciated that the safe in the area along with the A/C. Here are a couple items we missed using… an outside sofa area/balcony or possibly a window which had a perspective (our window view turned out to a wall), a few additional seats and possibly a dining table inside the room drawers and shelves or drawers for storing material. The area furnishing included 2 beds so that we applied one as our dining room. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishes (no stove best however).

I remained there for a week in May 2018. The area I stayed at had no opinion without a balcony, but was inexpensive. The area was clean and has been nice for my requirements. I did have a problem with an item going missing out of my area, but it finally made its way back to me personally. I’d have no problem staying there again in the long run.
